Chapter Content

Subaru POV

As satella's face descended, I didn't know what to do. I am not flugel yet it's his feelings that make me gravitate towards her. but flugel was and is now a part of me. I am not flugel but flugel is a part of me?

It doesn't matter anymore does it? I love Satella

I don't move my head as I feel Satella's soft lips make contact with mine, surrendering myself. I can't, no I don't want to fight against me

After a few seconds of contact, Satella's lips raised up, away from mine. She looked at me with happy smile as she went down and kissed me again and again and again.

She kept kissing and hugging me, almost maddened with love as I simply surrendered to her wishes as I no longer wish to resist

"Subaru..... I love you. Let's live and love together from now until the end of time" Satella made her passionate confession as I smiled, for once after such a long time. Feeling loved

"I love you to Satella, I'll love you from this moment till I take my final breath." I said as she descended down and laid while hugging me, laying her head in the crook of my neck, as I embraced her back

We stayed like this for a while as I finally let go of the dilemma inside of me, I am both Flugel and Subaru but what's matters most is that I am me and moving forward, that's all that matters doesn't it? I have someone to love me now, and I am happy.

"So Subaru, where are we going tomorrow?" Satella asked as I thought about it, There are no particular priorities I have at the moment.

"Let's...... visit the sanctuary and meet the witches. I have a few questions that would help, but let's stay here for a day or two at the very least" I said as Satella hummed for a response as I simply continued hugging her as we fell asleep

The Next Day

We were still in bed, embracing each other as I woke up, Satella is still on top of me as I stroked her head lightly to wake her up

"Satella... love..... wake up, its morning" I said as Satella yawned and got up from ontop of me and gave me a smile

"Goodmorning my beloved "She said, smiling brightly

It's a new day and I realized that we have to do something about Satella's appearance and name, I wonder if my authority of lust works in the same way, so maybe I can use it.

"Hey Satella, can I try something?" I said as Satella looked towards me and replied

"Sure! what are you gonna do?" she said as I began to touch her arm

I used the authority of lust and slowly grey liquid began to over her as her face completely changed and looked anew, I should ask her what she wants to look like

"Tella, you can't go out looking like how you normally do, so I can use the authority of lust to disguise you. What do you want to look like?" I asked her as she told me

"I want to be.... a pink haired elf... like my mother" she said as I smiled and transformed her desired appearance, the face same and eyes a little lighter with her hair being pink

"My face hasn't changed much.... it would be easier if you did that Subaru" she said as I looked at her and simply said from the bottom of my heart

"I love how you look, I don't want to change it more than I need to" I said as she blushed at my response as she looked away

"D-dummy." Satella said as I chuckled

her current demeanor being a complete opposite of her assertive self yesterday, it was quite adorable if anything

I took her hand as I lead her outside of our little hotel room as I realized that I needed a way to gather funds. I have no money-

We went down as the lady at the reception saw us and offered a meal as it was included with the room which we happily accepted, i hadn't ate in a long time, it was exciting to taste again

I took sip of the soup and it felt heavenly to taste something and I could see that Satella shared the sentiment and we both smiled at how such a simple thing felt so amazing

Me and Satella were just about to start talking as I heard a loud voice come from the entrance of the hotel

"SUBARU!" I heard a voice all too familiar

I looked toward the noise as I spot Emilia, Rem, Beatrice, Roswaal, felt and Reinhard.

What the hell are they doing here and how did they find me?

Note- this chapter made me feel so damn lonely while reading- a lot of stuff happened with me recently and this made it worse lmao. I hope you all have a great day!
