It was always the marginalized who were pushed to the edges of society--always praised for being resilient, but resilience was forced upon them. Always expected to endure injustice, to stay silent, and to adapt to a system that refused to adapt to them. The worst part? Education was the least priority in favor of survival. That was the exact cycle that Casandra Idelyn Asuncion wanted to break.

When she failed to secure a slot in any state university due to limited opportunities, she made a choice that could either save her or shatter her future. She gambled everything on the only government scholarship to a private university that accepted her--one that could be taken away in a snap if her grades slipped below the quota.

DDesperate to prove her worth, Cassidy sought answers from Jeremaiah Rylan Altacosta--the son of the university president. He was everything she wasn't: privileged, powerful, untouchable. And yet, he was the only one who could give her the transparency and proof she needed to silence the doubts and to mark her with merit.
