Eren knocked on the door, Historia opened up the door, "Hey Eren, I missed you!" Eren was sweating, "Levi went hard on you huh?", " Yea he made us train extra hard, Also Hange made me do more experiments to see if I can put an end to the titans, the founding titan could possibly end everything. I'm exhausted." Eren was sweating so much that you could see his body through his shirt. "I'm gonna go take a shower" Historia nodded and moved out of the way. Eren closed the bathroom door and the sound of water tapping on the ground could be perfectly heard. Historia held her baby on the bed, she'd been thinking of asking Eren a question and didn't know how he'd react to it. She looked nervous with a worried expression on her face, she looked down at the baby in her arms. "Should I tell him" The baby had a giant smile, seeing her smile always made Historia smile. Eren walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist. "Tell me what?" Her eyes widened, she quickly looked down to avoid eye contact. "Oh, nothing." Eren chuckled, "cmon" he sat next to her and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "You can tell me anything". Historia looked up and blushed, it was hard to look up at Eren. "Well we haven't really been out in public, I don't want to hide anymore, I want people to know that we're together, or maybe not together but I want to be in public, just us three."

"Are you sure you want to do that?" Eren had a concerned expression, "Yes Eren, I'm positive. I don't like just being here doing nothing." Eren nodded because he understood what it felt like to be trapped. "Ok, let's get dressed and head out." Historia smiled and pulled Eren closely. "Thank you." Eren pet her and kissed her forehead, "Anything for you, your highness. They got dressed and Historia told a maid to dress Amanda for a day out, Eren wore a shirt and pants, just basic attire, Historia too, she didn't want to stand out. They spent the day walking around, they hadn't given enough credit to the civilization, although they hated that they were trapped inside those giant walls, their city looked beautiful when the sun beamed down on them. Eren noticed how Historia's eyes shined bright from the sun. All over again he started to admire her beauty. They walked around open areas, ate, showed their baby what was inside and what was safe. Eren was sad that he never did this with her before, he wished he could've done it all years ago, he loved her like he'd known her his whole life.

Everything was going just fine, Eren was proud to call Historia his lover. The hours passed by like seconds, they didn't even notice that the sun had begun to sink down under the horizon of the wall. They began to make their way back, "I have to go to train again with Hange and Levi tomorrow" Eren quietly said, he didn't want to ruin their time, but he knew she should know. She looked disappointed; lately all he's been doing is experiments and training. She noticed the physical toll it took on him. Suddenly a large blast was heard, the top of the walls looked like they'd been destroyed, Eren saw soldiers on horses making their way towards the first wall and telling civilians to stay indoors. Eren grabbed Historia's wrist and began to pull on her, he made her run toward their home while holding their baby. More stones could be seen coming over the wall, "I had no idea he could throw this far" Eren thought. They were near the doorway a couple yards away. Rocks seemed to be getting closer and closer, Eren let go of her hand and ran forward to open the door, Historia tripped on a stone on the ground but moved her body in order to keep Amanda on top of her. She was crying, she was scared, the small toddler had no idea of what was happening; in her head all she could recognize was fear. Eren ran out and grabbed Historia, he used all his strength to carry both of them, he was at the door and turned his head to the left, a giant brown rock could be seen coming in from the right side about to crush them all. Eren grabbed both of them tightly and then tossed Historia in through the door, she saw his face before he got hit from the side and got his legs shredded by the boulder.

He was laying lifeless on the floor. He only heard a loud ringing, he saw the sky getting foggy, and his vision getting blurry. He saw a bright light in the sky and immediately was in awe. He couldn't even hear Historia screaming his name at the top of her lungs or his daughter crying loudly. "Is this how I die? Was it all for nothing? I can't even feel my own body, I was never enough to protect them. I'm as useless as the day I first saw light. Why can't I just end it all?" Eren's thoughts filled his mind, they were the only thing that kept him breathing. He'd been tired the whole day without proper rest, his healing ability was slow. Eren's expression soon turned to anger, "No, I can't die yet, you sons of bitches think I'll just give up? I meant it when I said it, I'LL PUT AN END TO EVERYTHING" Eren started radiating steam, his torn legs started to regrow, he stood up with hate clear on his face, he was tired of useless fighting he was sure that this time, he would put an end to this fucked up world, that he would kill off every remaining titan. He looked at Historia before he started moving, "This time it'll be different" he whispered.
