It has been two months since Hades heard from his wife, and just like all of his children it was hard at first with dealing with a crying baby while being the ruler of the underworld..
Well not Makaria or Zagrues, the two of them were very calm.
Which Mal got from her two oldest siblings, when he has free time from work, Malinoe is asleep and his other kids are distracted... he would check on Mal, when she's not around Maleficent or when she's or her goblins are not hurting her (which he was not happy at all) is very calm.
But he got the hang of it, I mean he had a lot of practice with all his kids he and Steph had before.
Anyway back to not hearing from his wife.
Not even from mind link or a portal call, now he knows that she's not upset with him.
Which means she's either upset with Zeus, Hera or her mother said something that made her upset or she's gathering up some stuff, which is what she did the last time they had a baby and she was on Olympus.
But then again she hasn't talked to her mother since she find out about what her mother planned to break up her and Hades up... and it almost work to... it was eighteen years until they spoke again and that was when Hera was born with Hercules.
And she wouldn't speak to her father or stepmother if she wasn't in a gods meeting and they said something that would make her mad or rant to say.
The portal opened and the first person to stepped into the portal was Will, with his bag in his hand.
He was very excited to see his future brothers/ sisters in law and future father in law.
"Will, I have told to help lady Persephone out with all of these stuff." he heard his future brother in law Frank. "I have shapeshifting, not super strength."
"Oh, and like I could help." Will scoffed, but still going to help him out. "I have healing, light and sound."
"You could still help." said Frank, as he and Will got in a baby thing that babies loved to play it.
"Not even engaged to your significant other and already fighting like your siblings." said Persephone fondly, as she stepped out of the portal with three bags on each of her arms, she then looked through the portal. "Come on, it's not the first time you guys have been here."
Stepping out of the portal is her adoptive demi god son Nico, adoptive daughter Hazel, her demi godson and daughter... and her husband adoptive demi son and daughter Lilly-Rory and Lincoln, their carrying the rest of the baby stuff and their bags.
"... And I told you millions of times to just call me Steph or Persephone." Persephone finished, as Lincoln handed out his hand out to the portal and a hand took it... the hand reveals to be Grace's.
"Q—Q—Queen Persephone." Pain said, all of them gave him a smile.
"Hello Pain, are my children and husband are here." Persephone said.
"Right this way Queen Persephone." said Pain. "You can all leave your bags where they are, Panic and I will get them."
Persephone, Hazel, Nico, Lincoln, Lilly-Rory, Frank, Will and Grace did exactly that, even though they don't usually do that and follow Pain.
Persephone smiled and stopped when she saw her husband sleeping on the couch.
"Hi mom." She heard her daughter Makaria voice, she slowly turned around. "Hey, guys."
"Makaria." Persephone, giving her daughter a side hug, because Makaria was holding Malinoe.
"I decided to let him sleep, he feel asleep with Malinoe, but don't worry mom, I took a picture of them before I took Malinoe out of his arms." Makaria whispered, not to wanting to wake up a sleeping baby and her father.
Thank you." Persephone whispered back, giving her eldest daughter a kiss on her forehead. "Where's Thanatos, Keres, Zagreus, Melinoe, Hazezel, Phoenix, Plutus, Howard and Poppy?"
"I'm afraid Thanatos and Keres are already at work." whispered Makaria.
"Oh no." Persephone whispered softly, usually when her kids are at work that usually means a child has died and when Keres are involved that means a kid was murder and their advancing the child by violently killing their murder or it's about to happen.
"Yeah, so if you excuse me mother, I'll get everything ready for you and dad." said Makaria softly.
"Thank you sweetie." said Persephone, as her daughter walked away she realized that she hasn't gotten to the bottom of where her other children are.
"I'll go with you." Hazel said.
"And we'll go to our rooms to pack and get ready for the trial." Nico said as him, Will, Frank, Lilly-Rory, Lincoln and Grace walked to their rooms.
Persephone stopped Hazel when she started to follow Makaria.
"Please find out where Poppy, Howard, Phoenix, Hazezel, Plutus, Melinoe and Zagreus are." Persephone whispered. "Especially Melinoe and Zagreus."
Knowing her eldest twins like she does, she knows that they would causes so much.
"Of course mom, I was planning on doing that anyway mom." said Hazel in a whisper.
Before following where her sister went. While Persephone slowly approached her sleeping husband with a smile, she sat down and just watched him.
He then lets out a painful grunt, Persephone frowns because that means that someone just die.
It hurts even more when it's a child or younger.
That comes with the territory of being the god of the dead and king of the underworld, feeling when someone dies, she feels it too, but not as much as Hades.
"Sh, Sh." Persephone said, comforting her husband, his eyes slowly start to open. And his smile upon seeing his wife, Persephone returned the smile. "Hi, honey, I'm home."
She then learned down to kiss him, before pulling away. "So sorry, I haven't been talking to you for a while, I had to get everything ready."
"Everything ready?" asked Hades, as Pain and Panic bring all of the bags that Persephone brought with her.
"Where do you want all this stuff Queen Persephone?" Pain asked.
"Just in leave it in the dining room." Persephone said.
"Yes my lady." Panic said as they walked into the dining room.
"Thank you Pain and Panic." said Persephone.
Hades turned to look at his wife as Pain and Panic went into the dining room. "Do I even want to know?"
"What? It's for the babies!" Persephone said.
"You mean.."
"Yes, I have both Mal and Malinoe, when we get her back which we will." Persephone said.
"You're being very calm about the fact that I have a baby with another woman." said Hades, before pausing. "Just as you were when you find out about Bianca, Nico and Hazel."
"Hades you told about her raping you to get Mal and told about it and Mal straight away, along with Bianca, Nico and Hazel." Persephone said. "I'm not Hera, I would never punish a child for that, Maleficent can die through. But why would you ever think that."
"I mean you turned Minthe into a mint plant because I had like her in the past and turned Marie into a cactus."
"Minthe thought she claimed to be superior to me and so did Marie." Persephone said. "Plus I was jealous."
"I heard that Steph."
"Oh shut up." Persephone said with a chuckle, then they kissed again.
Hades then whispered into her ear. "After the kids fall asleep, I'll show you why you don't need to feel jealous of any woman that has been interested in me."
Persephone smiled and then she went to whispered into his ear.
"After that I'll show you that I'm not angry at you."
They both chuckled, but both jumped when they heard their daughter and son voice.
"Mom, you're back."
Both Melinoe and Zagreus hugged Persephone when she stood up but both parents noticed that one of their eldest twins were holding something.
"Mellie, Zag what did you do?"
Both twins looked at each other before nodding, Zagreus pulled his cap that he always wear away to reveal what he was holding...
It was a baby, and not just any baby but Mal and both parents knew that.
"We took her from the dragons place." Zagreus said.
"We only have a few hours until the dragon realizes that she's gone." Melione said.
"Or longer."
"Mom, dad, they're here." said Thanatos as he entered the room.
"We'll be right there." said Hades.
"And I know the perfect outfit for this little one." Persephone said with a smile as she gently took Mal out of Zagreus arms and walked to the dining room.
"You did good." Hades said to his kids, even though that he taught his kids to never kidnapped a child from its parents.
And yes he's well aware of that irony.
But does it really count as kidnapping if the parent is horrible? Or even if the said parent doesn't even know if they gone.
All of them went to the trial of the kid that was killed and the murder.
They had made it a rule that they won't allow their kids to be in the underworld and see the kids until they were six or older but centuries back Melinoe and Zagreus made some good points about how the whole family of the underworld should be there to judge the souls.
Even though it was only a short time that they had Mal, both Persephone and Hades agree that they loved having all of them here.
